Welcome to the restored 1912 "Smith/Perry Boarding House"
In the trailer, Ashley calls the property the largest investment they've ever made. They also said that it was not the right time to purchase a property but it was a "unicorn property." After finally deciding to turn this into a full-time profession, the couple were able to rescue the many houses in Galveston. The reason why they called their firm Save 1900 was because they tried to preserve old houses that survived the 1900 storm.

Our lounge is the perfect spot to relax after a long day by the pool or at the beach. Meet up with friends at the hotel or make new ones. Last week, I was tired beyond Madeline Kahn tired; however, I made a journey to Mansard House on Sunday morning, bravely driving down the beach road to the ferry. This is because I thought either the jeeps being driven by drunk 20-year-olds at spring break had already been arrested or that they were still sleeping it off. You know, we see their frowning faces or mugshots on the Galveston County Sherriff’s Office website each year.

It’s also the perfect location for discovering the beautiful coastline of Suffolk – on foot, bicycle or by car. Michael and Ashley Cordray have opened The Mansard House, a boutique hotel on the corner of 23rd Street and Avenue K in Galveston.
Prices Per Week
The entrance to this property is on Chopping Hill, just off the High Street and the accommodation is arranged over three floors. This attractive pet friendly property can accommodate parties of up to nine guests. If you rent out the whole hotel, this is also a spot where a bar/bartender can be set up to serve drinks. Currently this is not a stocked/ open to guests bar. Our front gate entrance offers a beach shower for you to rinse those sandy feet before jumping in.

Once inside you will find the ground floor offers a well-equipped kitchen, a generous dining area with views out onto the High Street and two living rooms with one offering direct access onto the decking and garden. The first floor and second floor feature five bedrooms and two bathrooms. ONE FREE off street gated parking spot is designated per room. If you come with 2 cars one car will need to park on the street.
The long vacant building was once a boarding house. Our Gym is located in the front of the hotel and is available for your personal use during your stay. The windows provide a nice natural light with a great view to our side deck and outdoor area. Don't use obscene, vulgar,lewd, racist or sexually oriented language.Don't threaten. Threats of harming anotherperson will not be tolerated.Be truthful.

Catch a Sunset while you sit by the fire pit and take a load off your feet. No matter the time of year it is always "high season" at The Mansard House. With a heated pool and plenty of room to relax it's never a bad time to visit Galveston. This is a non smoking, Adults only, No pets establishment. I will admit that I don’t watch much television; however, I watch a few property restoration shows, and my favorite is Restoring Galveston. It’s mainly because it’s Galveston, and the Cordrays from Save 1900 sometimes restore houses that may end up on the Galveston Historic Homes Tour. —Save 1900 purchased the 1912 Smith–Perry Boarding House and restored it to a pristine inn now called Mansard House. The show is available on Discovery Plus and now on Magnolia Network.
